Chinese BaZi (Four Pillars)
BaZi (八字) — Four Pillars of Destiny
Year, month, day, hour — your four pillars in Chinese astrology. Different vocabulary, surprisingly precise on temperament.
Does this feel familiar?
Chinese astrology isn't just zodiac animals. The BaZi (literally 'eight characters') reads your birth into four pillars — year, month, day, hour — each pillar carrying one heavenly stem and one earthly branch. Eight characters total. The day pillar specifically describes 'you' in a way different from any Indian system.
What it is, how it works
BaZi pairs each pillar with one of 5 elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, water) and yin/yang. The day-master (day pillar's heavenly stem) is the core 'you'. The relationship between the day-master and the other pillars determines wealth, career, relationships, and luck cycles (10-year periods). We compute your full BaZi with day-master interpretation.
