Friendship Compatibility

Mitra-Synastry — friend-chart matching

Two charts, read for friendship — not romance. Why some friendships last decades and some die after a year.

Does this feel familiar?

You have a close friend who feels family. You have a colleague-turned-friend who is your peer professionally but exhausting personally. You have a friend who keeps drifting in and out of your life on a strange rhythm. The Vedic synastry framework reads not just romantic charts but any two-chart pair — and the friendship version is read against different criteria than marriage.

What it is, how it works

Friendship synastry uses the same two-chart engine as Kundali Milan but reads different houses (3rd, 11th — siblings, networks) and different planet relationships (Mercury for communication, Jupiter for shared values, Mars-aspect for conflict patterns). It does not require the 'nadi' or 'gana' criteria that marriage uses.

We accept both birth details, output the friendship-compatibility score (out of 36, calibrated differently from marriage), surface the natural rhythm of the friendship (close-then-distant, steady, increasing, decreasing), the topics of natural alignment, the friction zones, and the long-term forecast (does this friendship deepen or fade over the next decade).

This helps people who

  • Long-term friendships hitting an unexpected rough patch
  • New friendships you're trying to assess
  • Co-founder pairs deciding whether the partnership has friend-energy or just business
  • Anyone with a friend they cannot quite explain their connection to
