Marriage muhurat

Find an auspicious marriage date

Vivah Muhurat is the classical timing for the wedding ceremony. The right muhurat aligns the couple's nakshatras with auspicious tithis, weekdays, yogas, and the absence of malefic combinations like Bhadra and Rahu Kaal.

Classical considerations

  • - Avoid Chaturdashi, Amavasya, and Bhadra periods.
  • - Favored tithis: Dwitiya, Tritiya, Panchami, Saptami, Dashami, Ekadashi, Trayodashi.
  • - Auspicious nakshatras: Rohini, Mrigashira, Magha, Uttara Phalguni, Uttara Ashadha, Hasta, Swati, Anuradha, Mula, Uttara Bhadrapada, Revati.
  • - Avoid Tuesday and Saturday for the ceremony itself unless other factors are exceptional.
  • - Sun should not be in Pisces (Meena Sankranti) — month of avoided weddings.

Used to weight days that align with your nakshatra and tarabala.
