Yoga by Dosha
Dosha-aware asana sequencing
Vinyasa burns out a Vata. Hot yoga aggravates Pitta. Restorative makes a Kapha drowsier. Your dosha calls for a specific practice.
Does this feel familiar?
Yoga is supposed to help. Yet you've tried five styles and one made you anxious, one made you exhausted, one made you bored. The reason isn't the style — it's the mismatch between the style and your dosha. Your body wants a specific kind of practice.
What it is, how it works
Each dosha thrives on specific yoga qualities. Vata (cold, dry, mobile) needs warm, slow, grounding sequences — Hatha, gentle Yin, Iyengar with focus on standing poses. Pitta (hot, sharp, intense) needs cooling, non-competitive, moonlight-quality practice — Restorative, Yin, slow flow with long savasana. Kapha (heavy, slow, stable) needs energising, heat-building, dynamic practice — Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Surya Namaskar at speed.
We take your dosha profile, output a recommended practice style, sample 30/45/60-minute sequences calibrated to your dosha, the asanas to favour and avoid, the time of day to practise (morning for Kapha, midday for Vata, evening for Pitta), and the seasonal adjustments through the year.
