Pick the panchang tradition your family follows. We adapt month names, era years, festival labels, and (optionally) the underlying astronomical school across the whole site to match.

Note ·Most users want Drik (the default) — every modern panjika and government calendar uses observation-corrected positions. Switch to Surya-Siddhantic only if your family explicitly follows Kalpurush Panjika (Assam) or older Gupta Press / PM Bagchi (Bengal). On most days the two schools agree; on a few festival days each year they differ by one calendar day.
